We're a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to find loving, permanent homes for cats and kittens in the National Capital Region.

All of our cats and kittens are fully vetted, tested, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. They come from area shelters, managed colonies, and from people who can no longer care for them.

Adoption Fairs for 2009!
Our beautiful adoptees will be appearing at adoption fairs at Bailey's Crossroads PetCo and at our main facility in Madison, VA. Please see the calendar on the left to find out where you can meet the cat of your dreams. Coming to Madison? Please give us a call or email ahead of time.

Please note: Our PetCo fairs run all day Saturday and until 4pm on Sunday. Our kitties have a long way to travel on Sunday, so we like to get on the road before evening.

AdvoCATs, Inc., is a nonprofit group. Adoption fees and donations are used to cover our expenses including veterinary fees, medications, food, litter, cat toys, laundry and cleaning, and all the other things we need to keep our adoptees healthy and happy until they find their permanent home.
