We're a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to find loving, permanent homes for cats and kittens in the National Capital Region.

No adoption fair Feb 6-7! Due to the forecasted snow storm, we have canceled our adoption fair at PetCo for this weekend.

All of our cats and kittens are fully vetted, tested, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. They come from area shelters, managed colonies, and from people who can no longer care for them.

2009 was an eventful year for us. We left Madison behind and have settled into new digs and new routines in Northern Virginia. We are blessed and grateful that our long-time adult fosters successfully transitioned to C&W Rustic Hollow, where they continue to receive an astounding level of love, care, and attention. Our kittens and young adults are safe and snug for the holidays and are looking forward to finding new homes like yours in 2010. We will continue to hold adoptions at Petco in Bailey's Crossroads starting January 9th and 10th. Check the schedule on the left for more information. It is only through your continued support that we have made this transition. We are so very grateful to you. From everyone here, two-legged and four, thank you!

Our beautiful adoptees will be appearing at adoption fairs at Bailey's Crossroads PetCo Please see the calendar on the left to find out where you can meet the cat of your dreams. Please note: Our PetCo fairs run all day Saturday and until 3pm on Sunday. Our kitties have a long way to travel on Sunday, so we like to get on the road before evening. In the event of inclement weather, we may close early.

AdvoCATs, Inc., is a nonprofit group. Adoption fees and donations are used to cover our expenses including veterinary fees, medications, food, litter, cat toys, laundry and cleaning, and all the other things we need to keep our adoptees healthy and happy until they find their permanent home.
